What makes me unique for other applicates is that I am formally
trained in the Visual Communication (Design) and Fine art. I started
my education at the Visual Communication Program at the Alberta
College of Art and Design. I completed 3 of a 4 year degree Program
and decided to make a bold decision. I transferred to the Drawing
Department in the Fine Art Program. I realized 4th year (VC) was
nothing new just refinement of previously obtained skills. I also
felt (VC) lack personal development in conceptual and intuitive
expansion. Drawing offered this in a self directed set up. I made
the transition with the intension of utilizing my new found
strengths back into a design related career. I have graduated (07)
with an B.F.A in Drawing with virtually a second degree in Visual
Communication. I am now eager to bring together to two not so
different worlds.
I work in a variety of mediums including Graphite, Ink, Watercolor,
Gouache, Acrylic, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
Personally, I am hard worker who is very easy to get along with. I
have excellent communication skills. I verbalize my idea's clearly
and listen attentfully with an open mind to other's idea's. I work
well in a team environment, as a team player and also as a leader. I
work very well independently as well.
